Scholars Choice College Savings Program
Investments Managed by Legg Mason, Inc.
Selected Allocations¹
If you are interested in a set 529 investment allocation and choosing if, when and how your investment adjusts over time, consider one of these six options. They range from an aggressive, all equity allocation to a more conservative, money market allocation. With these options, your account 's asset allocation is fixed for as long as you choose to remain invested.² Your advisor will help you determine the option suitable for you, based on your investment objective, time horizon, risk tolerance and other investments.

While the Cash Reserve Option will invest all of its assets in a money market mutual fund and will value its units based on the underlying money market fund share value, the Cash Reserve Option itself is not a money market mutual fund. An investment in the Cash Reserve Option is not a bank deposit and is not insured or guaranteed by the FDIC or any other governmental agency. There is no assurance that the Cash Reserve Option will be able to maintain the value of its units at $1 per unit. It is possible to lose money by investing in this option.
If you'd like to free yourself from the task of adjusting your investment allocation over time, you may want to consider Automatic Allocations.
