CollegeInvest Stable Value Plus
We’ve partnered with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of Connecticut (MetLife) to offer you a guaranteed fixed-income 529 college savings option designed to:
- Protect your principal investment
- Provide a minimum rate of return
- Provide earnings that could be greater than the minimum
MetLife provides a guarantee to the Stable Value Plus Collge Savings Program to protect the principal investment and provide a minimum rate of return with earnings that could be greater than the minimum rate of return.
The current annual rate of return through December 31, 2011 is 2.84%.1 As of January 1, 2012 this rate will become 3.04%.

1 Effective September 1, 2011 the current rate of return is 2.84% per year net of all fees. The rate of return is reset each year by MetLife and will not go below a minimum of 2%. The minimum rate of return of 2% is prior to any fees or charges payable to CollegeInvest , including an annual administrative fee not to exceed 0.99%.
