that fits your family’s budget and specific investment strategy is important. Investments in the Direct Portfolio College Savings Plan give you the opportunity to leverage the low-cost indexing strategy of The Vanguard Group. Vanguard keeps costs low while striving to ensure that its index funds
track market benchmarks more closely than other index funds.
Since your family is unique, we offer eleven different 529 investment options ranging from conservative to aggressive.
Three Age-Based Options
Within these three options, your assets will be managed according to the age of your beneficiary. As your student ages, your assets are automatically shifted from more aggressive to more conservative investments.

Five Blended Portfolios and Three Individual Portfolios
These eight options allow you to tailor your investments from more conservative to more aggressive. Your assets will not move between portfolios until you instruct the plan to adjust your allocations. You may choose up to five of these investment options for your account
